Lead Derivatives Accounting Analyst

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accounting degree
• GAAP knowledge specifically derivative, revenue and inventory
• 7+ years progressive experience in commodity accounting
• Initiative and leadership in unstructured work environments, handling multiple job responsibilities, setting priorities, maintaining a high level of accomplishment, and implementing improvements to processes
• Experience using an ETRM for daily accounting functions
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to listen carefully and use clear and concise oral and written skills to convey facts and present positions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Can grasp complex business problems and formulate solutions
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
• Thrives in a fast paced, dynamic, high-performance culture with the ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CPA
• Experience in liquids accounting and gas marketing
