JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform daily responsibilities associated with external supplier (both commodity and non-commodity) set-ups and/or data changes.   Duties include, but not limited to, the following:
    • After receiving approval from authorized personnel, review all data and documents submitted by internal customers which may include:  New Supplier Set-Up Forms; W-9s; Master Service Agreements (“MSA”); invoices; banking or contact information, etc.
    • Confirm accuracy and completeness of all submitted data and documents and ensure compliance with all regulatory and/or organizational standards, policies, and guidelines
    • Perform validation of supplier’s taxpayer identification number on the IRS website
    • Perform validation of Supplier’s legal name using Secretary of State website or other approved sites
    • Perform validation of supplier email(s)
    • Perform electronic and/or verbal confirmation of all banking information for new supplier set-ups or changes with applicable institute and document in accordance with organizational compliance standards
    • Once validation process is complete, enter data and generate screenshots from applicable Targa systems, which may include: Oracle Financials Cloud, RightaNGLe, Allegro, Waterfield, Contract Logix, Supplier Portal, and Credit Monitoring System
    • Review all document packages against screenshots for completeness and accuracy
    • Forward screenshots from applicable systems to Targa authorized personnel for review and completeness
    • After receiving confirmation from Targa authorized personnel that the setup is completed, then create and upload document packet into SharePoint
  • Perform other duties as assigned including special projects, etc.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years plus work-related experience.
  • Strong computer skills with demonstrated working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills to include both written and oral and can work effectively with all levels within organization as well as external customers to the business.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to remain focused and driven in a high paced and open work environment.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems independently and exercise excellent judgment and common sense.
  • Aptitude to learn specific business processes and adapt to new software.
  • Demonstrated work ethic that is results driven. 
  • Takes initiative and practices accountable and responsible work habits.  
  • Ability to work independently and within/across work teams. 
  • Adaptable to change.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College courses and/or degree.
  • Work experience validating data such as the Loan Verification Process and/or, working knowledge of Supply Chain/Procurement supplier set up and maintenance process. 
  • Energy industry work experience.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Vision sufficient to read computer screens, reports, and related documents.
  • Hearing sufficiently to hear verbal instruction and normal conversation levels.
  • Speech sufficient to communicate in person and over the telephone.
  • Dexterity sufficient to operate computers and other related office equipment.
  • Strength sufficient to lift, carry and move objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
  • Endurance sufficient to maintain efficiency throughout the entire core work schedule.
