Lead Technical Accounting Analyst

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Certified Public Accountant with current license.
• 4+ years of auditing, financial reporting and accounting experience including a minimum of 3 years audit (public accounting) or 4+ years public company financial reporting / technical accounting experience.
• Project leadership experience working with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong financial reporting and accounting skills coupled with in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, including experience with complex accounting matters.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills within all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and writing skills.
• Ability to conceptualize and assimilate data and present proposals in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Adapts effectively to new and changing environment.
• Systems aptitude and process orientation; strong computer skills essential, including extensive use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, when necessary for periodic filing or corporate transactions, and travel, as necessary, between Tulsa, OK and Houston, TX.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• Merger, acquisition, and divestiture experience.
• Energy sector experience.
