Infrastructure Server Specialist
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
Perform server provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
Monitor server health and performance using tools like SolarWinds, VMware Ops Manager, and System Center.
Troubleshoot server-related issues and provide Tier 2/3 support.
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Support virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere).
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to infrastructure alerts.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in server administration and infrastructure support.
Experience managing Windows Server and Linux environments.
Experience managing VMWare server virtualization.
Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
SAN storage configuration and management experience
Good understanding of server backup technologies (Veeam, Exagrid a plus)
Experience managing Cisco UCS hardware.
Regular and reliable attendance.
