HRIS Technical Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HRIS Analyst to join our IT team and play a crucial role in supporting the UKG Human Resources Information System (HRIS). As a HRIS Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure the seamless integration of HRIS solutions, aligning with business needs and optimizing HR processes. Reporting for this position is through the IT (Technology) organization.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical direction/assistance for assigned applications, including but not limited to UKG Pro, UKG WFM (Dimensions), UKG Business Intelligence (People Analytics)
- Define technical solutions ensuring considerations for system stability, performance, and ongoing maintainability.
- Maintain an end-to-end understanding of functional aspects of applications and associated business processes.
- Generate custom reports using the UKG HRIS system's reporting tools to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Work directly with users to identify and resolve issues adversely impacting business processes.
- Ensure data security and compliance by adhering to data protection and privacy regulations.
- Provide user support for HRIS-related inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and offer solutions.
- Develop documentation and provide training to users as appropriate.
- Participates in the implementation project and own technical processes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot integration issues, conduct testing, and ensure data accuracy during integrations.
- Develop customer relationships by making efforts to listen and understand the customer; anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
- Monitor systems and be available outside of normal working hours to support systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, and/or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes and industry best practices.
- Hands-on experience with UKG Pro, UKG WFM, UKG Business Intelligence (People Analytics) is a plus
- Effective communication skills for engaging with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Technical proficiency, including familiarity with HRIS systems, databases, APIs, and middleware.
- Must be able to analyze data and provide insights as needed.
- Must support Integrations between HRIS/HCM and other systems, including learning new technologies as needed.
- Willingness to travel to company locations (up to 5%)
- Ability to support system outages and/or system issues outside of regular business hours when needed.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
