Finance & Investor Relations Associate

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• 2 to 5 years of related experience, preferably in accounting, finance, planning, midstream business analysis, investor relations, investment banking and/or equity research; minimum 2 years Energy industry experience preferred.
• Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to generate successful and positive working relationships at multiple levels and maintain them during peak deliverable periods.
• Strong financial/investment analytical skills.  Ability to grasp and interpret key financial statements and approach projects/initiatives with an analytical mindset.  Ability to perform financial statement analysis and challenge analyst financial models. 
• Experience with energy commodities in the areas of crude oil, NGLs, natural gas and petroleum products preferred.
• Self-starter with ability to plan, manage and organize own activities to achieve deadlines and contribute to the effectiveness of the IR office as a whole. Proactive approach to managing issues.
• Possess high degree of confidentiality.
• High level of professionalism, maturity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the energy industry, preferably with exposure to midstream companies or assets, and accounting/finance.
