ETRM Systems Sr. Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY
Senior Specialist – ETRM Systems is responsible for supporting the ION RightAngle application and related system customizations and integrations. The role requires strong systems support, communication and organizational skills with a focus on customer service. The Senior Specialist is also responsible for maintaining and monitoring the application to maximize availability and performance, provide technical solutions and troubleshoot and implement corrective actions to resolve business issues.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and maintain the ION RightAngle application
- Provide technical solutions for system enhancements and upgrades
- Investigate, diagnose and resolve service requests or incidents according to their priority/rank/impact
- Work with functional team and business users to identify and resolve issues adversely impacting business processes
- Define technical solutions ensuring considerations for system stability, performance, and ongoing maintainability of the application
- Document issues and enhancements with the appropriate level of detail
- Complete analysis, testing and deployment of system upgrades, patches, and custom code releases
- Follow defined change management procedures and internal guidelines
- Maintain documentation (run books, technical design, build, deployment, install guides) and process standards in area of responsibility along with regular audits to validate accuracy
- Availability to support after hours on business-critical situations and scheduled tasks
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Ensure requirements are being met in accordance with corporate compliance
- Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree, and/or equivalent work experience in a related field
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- 10+ years of experience in application support
- 5+ years of experience supporting ION RightAngle S21+
- A strong understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
- 3+ years of experience with SQL Server database (including stored procedures, triggers and scripts)
- 5+ years of experience in .NET application development
- Familiarity with SDLC processes such as Agile, Waterfall, etc
- Experience working with ticketing systems like ServiceNow
- Knowledge of ION RightAngle modules (Accounting, Trading, Risk, Inventory, etc.)
- Familiarity with front to back-office system data flow in ION RightAngle, including but not limited to Deal Capture, Contract Management, Lease Center, Credit, Risk, Scheduling, Inventory, Settlements and Accounting. Ability to create pricing provisions and report views
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail
- Knowledge of standard DevOps principles (Azure, GIT)
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley IT Change management controls
- Regular and reliable attendance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas industry is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills & Intermediate skills in other MS Office applications
- Familiarity with any of the following products: Allegro, Waterfield, OneStream, UltiPro, Oracle Cloud Financials, Boomi
- Understanding of Physical (Oil, NGLs, Refined Products) & Financial commodities
- Understanding of XML syntax and structure.
- Willingness to travel to company locations (up to 5%)
