RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Commercialize & manage Targa-owned, operated, or JV’d residue gas pipeline infrastructure
  • Develop transportation services & proposals targeted especially toward effectuating Coastal markets and LNG
  • Work cooperatively with TGM to couple long-term Gas Sales with Infrastructure; leverage Targa’s capabilities & margins
  • Work within Gas Pipelines to leverage Targa-owned capacity with new Gulf Coast infrastructure
  • Provide expertise to commercialize & manage salt position once we secure a greenfield or JV project at market rates
  • Expand existing commercial capabilities and develop new capabilities in support of new Targa-operated assets/JV’s
  • Manage project development from conception through execution (coordinate with engineering, operations, finance, legal)
  • Develop & maintain relationships with customers & counterparties & LNG markets
  • Negotiate commercial agreements across trading and infrastructure platforms
  • Develop and present internal presentations for commercial proposals and capex spend
  • Provide updates to SVP/EVP’s regarding projects/JV including monthly financial reporting/flash and metrics
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant markets/LNG, commodities, projects & innovations
  • Assist in the due diligence process for announced and potential strategic acquisitions/M&A
  • Assist Residue SVP, VPs, and Corp Dev with gas strategies

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or another equivalent field
  • 15-20 Years of experience in energy business with a focus on Business Development in conjunction with Residue Gas Trading, Firm & IT Pipeline Capacity, Long & Intermediate Term Sales Contracts, Salt Storage in Gulf Coast Market
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required with Executive Presentation Experience
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
  • Willing to travel
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Regular and reliable attendance
