POSITION OVERVIEW:

Targa has an immediate opening for an ES&H Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator as a team member of the ES&H Training group. This position is responsible to 1) Oversee and Maintain the ES&H departments Learning Management system (LMS) that will meet all regulatory compliance needs and ensure data accuracy and integrity; 2) Assist in the managing٫ designing٫ developing٫ coordinating and reporting of corporate and local safety training programs.

This position will preferably office in Tulsa, OK or Houston, TX and will report to the Manager, ES&H Training.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1.) Oversee and maintain the ES&H Departments Learning Management System (LMS) that will meet all regulatory compliance needs and ensure data accuracy and integrity, with duties including but not limited to: 

  • Administration of the learning management system, training records and associated templates to ensure training documentation is complete by data entry or other methods.
  • Creating and publishing online/instructor-led courses, training curricula, and maintaining system parameters.
  • Actively interact with other systems teams to help administer the LMS and third-party content, user accounts, and maintain security roles and access levels.
  • Maintaining data integrity rules and processes for the LMS, such as course descriptions, course or class changes, and instructors.
  • Providing training and technical support to users, supervisors, administrators, and others who interact with the learning management system.
  • Assisting with strategic planning and leading course creation for the LMS.
  • Generating and analyzing data reports for internal stakeholders, such as the Training Committee and department leaders.

2.) Assist in the managing٫ designing٫ developing٫ coordinating and reporting of corporate and local safety training programs, with duties including but not limited to:

  • Assisting in the creation and scheduling of training plans and programs (outsourced and/or internal), such as specialized, annual, and role-based safety training.
  • Supporting the development and execution of training management standards and process maps.
  • Aiding in the preparation and coordination of compliance training, safety topics, monthly safety focus materials, and site-specific training.
  • Monitoring the progress of training programs to ensure timely completion and meeting objectives.
  • Keeping stakeholders informed of training project status, updates, and changes.
  • Providing strategic input and direction for corporate, specialized, and site-specific training development.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • A bachelor’s degree (4 year) or higher in Education, Training, or related technical field.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.
  • Education or work-related experience in training or another related field.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms along with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques.
  • Working knowledge and prior experience in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training initiatives.
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Interpersonal communication skills are required to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors.
  • An organized and detail-oriented self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently given direction and resources.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems independently and exercise excellent judgment and common sense.
  • Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervision.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Proficiency in MS Office Suite to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Regular and reliable attendance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors LMS.
  • Experience in content creation tools.
  • Previous experience in a safety and health role with knowledge of applicable regulations in addition, agencies such as OSHA. 
  • Experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
