Technical Accounting Manager

Minimum Essential Qualifications 

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Certified Public Accountant with current license.
• 6+ years of auditing, financial reporting and accounting experience including a minimum of 3 years audit (public accounting) or 6+ years public company financial reporting / technical accounting experience.
• Project leadership experience working with multiple stakeholders
• Strong financial reporting and accounting skills coupled with in depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, including experience with complex accounting matters.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills within all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and writing skills.
• Ability to conceptualize and assimilate data and present proposals in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Adapts effectively to new and changing environment.
• Systems aptitude and process orientation; strong computer skills essential, including extensive use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Ability and willingness to work overtime, when necessary for periodic filing or corporate transactions, and travel, as necessary, between Tulsa, OK and Houston, TX.

Preferred Qualifications 

• Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• Experience as a Manager in public accounting (preferably Big 4) serving SEC registrants.
• Merger, acquisition and divestment experience.
• Energy sector experience.
