MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting emphasis preferred
- Highly developed attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to think critically, solve problems independently, and exercise sound judgment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with all levels of employee
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to travel, domestically, up to 15%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Interest in pursuing one or more professional certifications (i.e., Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Internal Auditor, or Certified Fraud Examiner)
- Work related experience in accounting or audit role (oil and gas sector preferred)
- SOX compliance experience
- Experience with SharePoint, AuditBoard, OFC, and/or other Internal Audit/Financial software
