Sr. Measurement Analyst (Flow-Cal)
Education & License:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, and/or equivalent work experience in a related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, and/or equivalent work experience in a related field
- 4-6 Years of work experience with supporting Measurement applications (preferred Flowcal, TESTIT, SCADA).
- 4-6 years of working experience with Oracle or SQL Server including stored procedures, triggers, views, and tables. Experience with Oracle 11i or higher and SQL Server 2014 or higher required
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in professional services, development, or customer support operations supporting custom business applications as well as vendor supported applications
- 3-5 years of experience in ASP.NET, C# Framework 4.0/4.5, Visual Studio, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services, VB.net, and ADO.net
- 3+ years of Microsoft technologies systems integration and/or implementation experience
- 3-5 years of experience and comfortable using multiple technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, PHP, JQuery, Ajax or JavaScript
- Experience supporting measurement systems as well as fundamental knowledge of NGL and Natural Gas business
- Experience with commodities, volumetric, and accounting related data
- Experience in integration of measurement data with other systems
- Familiarity with ITIL concepts and the ability to follow problem, change, and incident management processes and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for problem solving
- Must be able to independently resolve issues and efficiently self-direct work activities based on the ability to capture, organize, and analyze information
- Experience delivering solutions that align with business strategies
- Experience troubleshooting complicated issues across multiple systems and driving to solutions
- Experience supporting resources performing user acceptance, regression and other required system tests, ensuring that system and/or related integration issues that arise are identified, researched and closed in a timely manner
- Experience providing technical solutions to non-technical individuals
- Demonstrated team building skills
- Ability to deal with internal employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude
- Willingness to travel to company locations (up to 5%)
- ITIL v3 Foundations certified
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
- Working knowledge and experience in Microsoft Technologies (Microsoft Certifications)
- Candidate should have a well-rounded understanding of the development life-cycle, and a proven track record of designing, coding, and delivering functionality/applications for client
- Familiarity with reporting services or technologies such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
