Safety Advisor
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Engineering, Safety & Health or related technical/science field preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Safety & Health management systems within gas processing, refining, petrochemical, or other industrial manufacturing settings.
- Working knowledge of Federal general industry and construction safety requirements including PSM (Process Safety Management).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to organize and work self-sufficiently given direction and resources.
- Intermediate level desktop computer skills using Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer.
- Ability to travel periodically, as needed.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ten (10) or more years of experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
- Three (3) or more years of experience with Industrial Hygiene.
- Preferred consideration will be given for CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ASP (Associate Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) or other safety related professional certifications.
- Experience with ISNetworld or similar contractor management platforms.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside the company (regulatory agencies, contractors, consultants).
