Safety Advisor

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.S. in Engineering, Safety & Health or related technical/science field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience working with Safety & Health management systems within gas processing, refining, petrochemical, or other industrial manufacturing settings.
• Working knowledge of Federal general industry and construction safety requirements including PSM (Process Safety Management).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and work self-sufficiently given direction and resources.
• Intermediate level desktop computer skills using Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer.
• Ability to travel periodically, as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Ten (10) or more years of experience in the oil and gas or petrochemical industry.
• Three (3) or more years of experience with Industrial Hygiene.
• Preferred consideration will be given for CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ASP (Associate Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) or other safety related professional certifications.
• Experience with ISNetworld or similar contractor management platforms.
• Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside the company (regulatory agencies, contractors, consultants).
