ROW Field Agent III

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in ROW profession to include open negotiations experience and/or related field experience equivalency to include public interactions
• Ability to read, comprehend and interpret ROW documents and engineering drawings
• Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of route development and able to direct field survey firms as needed
• Ability to demonstrate a good understanding of construction practices to include impact on easement criteria, centerlines, and temporary workspace requirements
• Excellent verbal communication skills to include a strong ability to negotiate with various levels of professionals, vendors, government representatives and landowners
• High level of integrity and professionalism
• Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to work under minimum supervision effectively
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with aptitude to quickly learn and work on new systems
• Maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Must possess or can become a Notary Public
• Must be able to work outdoors in changing climate conditions and/or in plant facility work environment
• Must follow all company safety policies to include, where applicable, the adherence to Targa’s Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines
• Ability to travel to perform field work

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent
• Experience as a fully functional ROW project field agent
• Experience in abstracting, title / document agent, map reading
• Proficient or familiar with GIS (ESRI), Oracle database and/or Crystal Reporting
• Texas Real Estate Commission (“TREC”) Certification
