Measurement Supervisor
JOB FUNCTIONS AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support a team of measurement technicians by coordinating daily activities, sharing technical knowledge, and fostering professional growth.
Help maintain high operational standards, ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with procedures.
Monitor environmental requirements and assist the team in maintaining compliance to prevent potential issues.
Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot complex problems, contribute to effective solutions, and keep projects moving forward.
Interact with measurement analysts and assist in troubleshooting product gains and losses.
Interact with corporate Distribution and Logistics groups to coordinate provings and maintenance.
Adhere to safety, regulatory, and company guidelines, while also helping others stay aligned with these standards.
Manage budgets and monitor spending, ensuring resources are used effectively without compromising safety or quality.
Coordinate with planners and schedulers to manage Maximo work orders and ensure timely task completion.
Support projects from initiation through completion, assisting with planning, execution, and post-project follow-up.
Maintain strong working relationships with coworkers, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with corporate teams to improve processes by sharing ideas and helping implement changes.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working in industrial facilities.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power BI.
Capable of interpreting technical drawings and process flow diagrams, with a foundational understanding of facility operations.
Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Effective at task prioritization and workload management in a dynamic environment.
Committed to Environmental, Safety, and Health (ES&H) compliance and best practices.
Regular and reliable attendance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate degree in Instrumentation or equivalent training.
Familiarity with the maintenance and operation of small volume provers.
Familiarity with the maintenance and operation of turbine and Coriolis meters.
Understanding of how flow computers work.
Hands-on experience in electrical systems, instrumentation, and/or measurement technologies.
Proactively identifies and resolves potential issues before they escalate, ensuring operational continuity.
Skilled in planning, coaching, and delivering constructive feedback to support employee performance and development.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with external stakeholders including customers, suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
Adaptable and approachable, able to work well with individuals of diverse personalities and work styles.
Accountable for personal performance, consistently taking ownership of outcomes.
Strong team collaborator, committed to achieving shared goals through effective teamwork.
