MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, or Supply Chain Management.
- Five (5) years of project management experience in the oil and gas industry, Or, ten (10) years of facility construction experience in the oil and gas industry working as a job superintendent.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Materials Management and warehouse experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of materials management best practices and controls.
- Competent with warehouse construction and operations.
- Competent with Microsoft Project scheduling software.
- Technically competent with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Reacts promptly to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Flexible during times of change.
- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating (in communications with others including company employees and contract workers).
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
- Ability to defuse tension among the project team, should it arise.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and finding equipment or resources needed for a project.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing and materials management best practices.
- Experience in Oracle and Maximo applications is preferred.
