Maintenance Technician (5x2, M-F schedule)
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Basic knowledge of Natural Gas Characteristics, Engine and Compressor Operations and Maintenance.
• Ability to work a 5x2, Monday - Friday schedule including overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objectives for field or plant.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.
• Interpersonal communication skills required to interface with all involved teams, personnel, and vendors.
• Strong work ethic with demonstrated ability to effectively work with minimum supervision.
• Accepts responsibility for individual tasks and following through on commitments.
• Be someone colleagues and supervisors can rely on to complete tasks accurately, efficiently and safely.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, manage work orders, and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
• Assess urgency and importance of tasks to effectively prioritize assignments in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the company vehicle, tools, and equipment are kept clean, well-maintained, and in good working orders.
• Pay close attention to details to ensure all maintenance tasks are performed correctly and safely.
• Identify potential issues before they become problems and take the initiative to address them promptly.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement, staying updated with the latest industry practices and technologies.
• Actively help and support teammates, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Regular and reliable attendance by arriving on time for all scheduled shifts and meetings.
• Take responsibility for individual tasks and following through on commitments.
• Be someone colleagues and supervisors can rely on to complete tasks accurately, efficiently, and safely.
• Solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS TEAMS, Maximo, etc.
• Keep supervisors and team members informed about progress, potential issues, and any changes in availability.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs.
• Ability to work in changing climate conditions.
• Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing.
• Follow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), safety guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in maintenance and operations of gas compressors with engine drivers, glycol dehydrators and Gas plant processing.
