Investor Relations Manager

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; CPA or CFA
• 3 to 5 years of related experience, preferably in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, accounting, finance, planning and/or business development; minimum 3 years Energy industry experience preferred
• Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to generate successful and positive working relationships at multiple levels and maintain them during peak deliverable periods
• Strong financial/investment analytical skills.  Ability to grasp and interpret key financial statements, financial metrics used in investment analysis, and approach projects/initiatives with an analytical mindset.  Ability to perform financial statement analysis and challenge analyst financial models. Strong understanding of forecasting and business unit cash flow drivers
• Experience with energy commodities in the areas of crude oil, NGLs, natural gas and petroleum products
• Self-starter with ability to plan, manage and organize own activities to achieve deadlines and contribute to the effectiveness of the IR office as a whole
• Proactive approach to managing issues
• Possess high degree of confidentiality
• High level of professionalism, maturity, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Regular and reliable attendance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in the energy industry, preferably with exposure to midstream companies or assets, and investor relations
