MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Civil Engineering from 4-year accredited university
- Pipeline modeling experience with PipelineStudio, HYSYS, PROMAX, WinFlow/NextGen, Synergee or similar applications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside the company
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness and eagerness to travel away from the home office, overnight, 10% of the time, with the understanding that occasional circumstances may necessitate additional travel
- Regular and reliable attendance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of hydraulic modeling experience, preferably with liquid pipelines
- Pipeline modeling experience with Emerson PipelineStudio software
- Working knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications programming in Excel/PowerPoint and/or programming in Python
- Experience with Microsoft Project
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
- Ability to work in changing climate conditions and a plant environment
- Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing.
- Follow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, hard hat, FRC)
- The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
