MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years public company financial reporting experience, with a minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Certified Public Accountant or equivalent.
- Strong financial reporting and accounting skills coupled with in-depth knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills within all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and writing skills.
- Ability to conceptualize and assimilate data and present proposals in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
- Adapts effectively to new and changing environment.
- Systems aptitude and process orientation; strong computer skills essential, including extensive use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Ability and willingness to work long hours, when necessary, for periodic filing or corporate transactions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in public accounting (preferably Big 4) serving SEC registrants.
- Experience with XBRL tagging
- Experience with Oracle and Hyperion Financial Management.
- Energy sector experience.
