MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, engineering, information systems or related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 - 3 years Oil & Gas Industry experience, Midstream, Gas Plant Operations
  • Knowledge of the operation, control and general design of various kinds of systems typically present in a gas processing plant.
  • Proficient in PC and related software with advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
  • Work cooperatively with people of various backgrounds and positions in the office and the field;
  • Detail oriented and possessing strong analytical skills;
  • Driven to develop and apply both technical and functional skills/capabilities; and
  • Able to occasionally travel overnight.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 to 5 years work experience in natural gas liquids and/or gas processing business with natural gas or NGL measurement, operational/volume reporting, or volume control/scheduling experience.
  • Working knowledge of orifice measurement, ABB Totalflow equipment, chromatography, FlowCal and TestIT

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, with the ability to respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective and the ability to work shifts for plant or field conditions
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs
  • Ability to work in changing climate condition
  • Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing
  • Follow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex)
  • We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing
  • This role is subject to drug and alcohol testing, per applicable federal regulations or as required by Targa
