Director, Engineering Excellence

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Petroleum, Electrical, or related) from a 4-year accredited university.
· 10+ years of progressive experience in midstream/oil & gas engineering, design, or construction, including at least 5 years in a leadership or people-management capacity.
· Demonstrated working knowledge of midstream technical standards, codes, and regulations (API, ASME B31.3/4/8, DOT 49 CFR 192/195, NFPA, etc.).
· Strong background in at least two of the following areas: GIS/ArcGIS, CAD/drafting standards (AutoCAD/CADWorx), project controls (cost, scheduling, forecasting), or talent development programs.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences (operations, commercial, executives, regulators).
· Ability and willingness to travel to field locations and offices as needed (approximately 25%).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Direct experience implementing AI/ML tools or digital transformation programs in an engineering or construction environment.
· Prior responsibility for a developmental engineering/intern/graduate program.
· Proficiency with key platforms used by the teams: ArcGIS Pro/UPDM, AutoCAD/CADWorx/Plant 3D, Power BI, Primavera P6 or MS Project, Maximo, SharePoint, and document management systems.
· Track record of building high-performing engaged teams and earning a reputation as the “go-to” leader who is both technically sharp and personally approachable.
· Passion for mentoring early-career engineers and turning them into the company’s future technical leaders.
