Corrosion Technician
MINNIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Experience in pipeline operations preferred.
- Must be a “Team Player”
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to perform with minimal supervision.
- Imperative that candidates be willing to learn and self –study.
- Ability to attend and pass Nace courses and implement this training into their work.
- A strong work ethic
- High school, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in pipeline operations, midstream operations, cathodic protection, internal corrosion.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid New Mexico Driver’s License.
- Must meet insurance company motor vehicle record requirements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Computer skills in Access, Excel and Word. Prefer experience with American Innovations Pipeline Compliance System software, Bullhorn Rectifier Remote Monitoring software and Allegro field data terminal and software.
