Construction Superintendent
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in project scoping, costing, and management in pipeline and related construction projects or related fields.
- Knowledge of general construction practices employed in oil and gas operations including pipelines, compressor stations, oil handling facilities and other processing facilities.
- Competent skills and knowledge of the codes, standards and regulations applicable to construction activities.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside the company.
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office modules
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs.
- Ability to work in changing climate conditions.
- Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing.
- Follow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex).
- Regular and Reliable Attendance.
- Valid driver license and safe driving record.
- Will require travel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Project Inspection and Management experience.
- Knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, API 1104, 49 CFR Part 192, 49 CFR Part 195.
- Process Safety Management knowledge.
- Develop project scope, schedules and cost estimates in conjunction with engineering, commercial & operations.
- Coordinates contractor bid process, selection and contracting in conjunction with legal and procurement departments.
- Must work cooperatively with Project Manager to assure that projects are executed in accordance with approved budgets and schedules.
- Develops a strong service provider oriented relationship with internal operations, engineering and commercial groups.
