Automation Engineer

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Engineering degree from four-year college or university and 3 to 5  years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Technically competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
• Flexible during times of change.
• Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating (in communications with others including company employees and contract workers).
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and finding equipment needed for a project.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technically competent with Wonderware ArchestrA HMI
• Technically competent with Wonderware InTouch HMI
• Experience working with Allen Bradley PLC programs
• Experience working with Delta V or equivalent DCS systems
