Automation Engineer
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Engineering degree from four-year college or university and 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Technically competent with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
- Flexible during times of change.
- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating (in communications with others including company employees and contract workers).
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and finding equipment needed for a project.
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technically competent with Wonderware ArchestrA HMI
- Technically competent with Wonderware InTouch HMI
- Experience working with Allen Bradley PLC programs
- Experience working with Delta V or equivalent DCS systems
